Design Points
Insert molding requires careful control of insert position, plastic flow, tool holding features, heat transfer, material shrinkage, and pull-out strength. Before tooling, we review insert geometry, knurling, undercut features, tolerance, plating, corrosion risk, and whether manual or automated insert loading is suitable.
Quality Checks
Inspection can include insert position, thread gauge check, torque or pull-out testing, appearance review, flash check, dimensional inspection, and assembly fit. For export orders, packing should protect both plastic surfaces and metal insert areas from scratches, contamination, or deformation.
